Adrian Sneed
Adrian brokers crewed yacht charters in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, and is the broker who reviews the rates, taxes and cruising rules published across this site.
Adrian Sneed joined Sneed Charters in 2019 and brokers crewed charters alongside running the firm’s marketing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and an MBA in marketing, and spent his early career in hotel operations with Marriott, Hilton and Disney. He works in English and Spanish, and he is the named reviewer on the destination and cost guides published here.
Background
Adrian joined the family brokerage in 2019. His training is in hospitality rather than sailing: a bachelor’s degree in hospitality, an MBA in marketing, and an early career in hotel operations with Marriott, Hilton and Disney — businesses where service standards are set by the details a guest never notices. That is a useful background for charter work, where most of what makes a week good happens before anyone steps aboard.
He has also crewed aboard a sailboat in the Spanish Virgin Islands, which is a different kind of education and a more direct one.
What Adrian brokers
Crewed motor yachts, sailing yachts, catamarans and superyachts, principally in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. He takes his own charter clients rather than only managing accounts, and handles the firm’s marketing alongside them. He works in English and Spanish.
