Eleuthera Yacht Charters – Miles of glistening pink and white sand beaches, serene colonial villages and rolling acres of pineapple plantations make yacht charter to Eleuthera Island a memorable adventure. The cool laziness of Eleutheran life and dusty-yet-drenched colours of the island give it the feel of a giant illusion. Much of the island’s architecture and way of life were influenced by Loyalist settlers in the late 1700s.
With its two companions, Harbour Island and the community of Spanish Wells, Eleuthera Island has long been a favoured destination among smart travellers seeking a bit of quiet charm.
Tiny Harbour Island (occupied almost completely by the community of Dunmore Town) reminds many visitors of a miniature Bermuda with its Georgian architecture and fabulous beaches of coral pink sand. This long, narrow island is brimming with underwater adventure for both novice and experienced divers. Ride a current. Skim a reef. Explore the edge of a deep ocean hole. Guides will help you organise a spectacular experience on your charter.
In addition to a 100-mile coastline decorated by secluded coves, dramatic cliffs and spectacular reefscapes beneath clear waters of iridescent turquoise and blue, Eleuthera/Harbour Island also have miles and miles of beaches. Thirty-five miles of them in fact — some action-packed, some informal and relaxed, and some in between. So, kick off your sandals and let’s get started with this sandy cybertour. If you’re headed to Eleuthera/Harbour Island, you’re in for the experience of a lifetime. Water lovers won’t be disappointed with the wide variety of water activities about the island — from surfing and snorkelling to boating. And if you’re a true fisherman, you won’t want to miss the hunt for the Atlantic’s most magnificent prey — the billfish on your charter yacht to the Bahamas.
